My copy is stashed and i may unpack it this weekend. It was self-published.
I recall being envious of the $$$ it takes in the US to do that colour
printing. Such books are often scorned as being printed by the so-called
"vanity press" but many works of literature were also self-published, like
oh, "Ulysses" and "Leaves of Grass" which come to mind. Any reproduction if
covered by copyright would require permission, and with the age of easy
colour reproductions, libraries are increasingly reluctant to let anyone
make a "xerox" copy of anything for fear of copyright reprisals.
Morganstern was living in Britain as of the last i had heard of him. years
ago.
