Judy-  As I remember, you can treat them like a tomato or pepper plant for
feeding purposes. A hand full of bonemeal, or light fertilizer, and compost
amended to the soil (6" of manure underneath the soil on top of the drainage
material you place at the bottom of the hole for new transplants).
