In all other gardening matters, I'm strictly organic. However, PI is my
one exception. I did manage to kill one PI plant near my hose faucet with
something like this. However, the vine growing up the tree goes about 14
feet into the air. I'm not sure what kind of luck I'd have, and I'd still
have a fairly extensive toxic dead plant to get rid of. I'm so sensitive
to it, I don't even like to stand too close, let alone touch it. But you
may be right that I'd have better luck in spring than I did in late summer.
