Same here in LA County. The reason I need to water more often is because
I'm using masonry raised beds, no mulch installed yet (seedlings still
growing in some places, and we've had rather intense sunshine in the
last several weeks.
I installed a drip irrigation system in the beds that I'm finishing
constructing so I hope it'll take care of that daily chore.
