Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I heartily agree that my sq ft gardening extends to all areas of my yard
and I do appreciate all the info that many have shared on subjects that
intertwine ... such as bees, poison ivy, clematis, etc.
My reply:
With an opposite view...
The Internet is loaded with "chatty Cathy" lists that pertain to
gardening...
I think it is a real shame when a topic specific list is generalized by
the populace...it is costly to those who have to actually pay for each
e-mail downloaded(this is customary outside the U.S.), annoys those who
read the list charter, wastes the time of those who are only interested
in the list topic, and in general allows the list to degenerate into
drivel.
Since this apparently is some sort of opinion poll I will clearly state
that I would rather have one meaningful post per month then the endless
sea of peripherally related topics this list is capable of generating.
This dilemma can easily be resolved via an Administration ruling by the
list administrator. I would fully endorse and support posting
suspension for anyone drifting off topic...
Very truly yours, Kevin L. Mathews
