Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Thanks Bob for the good info on the subject and on the thread. Having just
got a computer a few months ago-I find that I am very naive to the workings
of cyberspace-appreciate any help I can get!!!!!!I decided that in a square
foot garden, everything is so close together that it can't possibly make all
that much difference where the heck you plant things. (Please correct me if
I am wrong!) Just got everything planted into my lasagna beds today used the
string and the trellises and the plant markers(miniblinds with permanent
markers)- Decided to just forge ahead as the advice says and adjust things
as I go along. What I love about square foot method is that there is much
leeway for error. Found the patty pans at an obscure nursery 40 miles from
home-can't believe I drove there but really love the little scallop squash.
I made markers for almost all plants but all the neighbors came over to make
pasta and drank too much redwine and am not sure of the varieties of squash
I planted!!!! So much for spaghetti dinners in the middle of the week Hope
somthing grows- this is my virgin vegie garden!!!_Terijg24@jps.net>
