We grew Basil..just one king though 2 years ago..it really DOES need 1 per
sq. ft spacing. The plant got to a ht of 1 1/2 - 2 ft and very bushy (the
more you snip it back the bushier and fuller it gets) We even dug it up in
the fall (hey it wouldnt' die back after the frost) potted it up, brought it
in the house, and kept it going until we could plant it out in the spring..we
got another whole season out of it until the drought and heat got to it in
late August
