Here !! Here!!!!!.  I agree whole heartedly.  Experience is the best teacher. 
 I have learned to listen to advice and then do what I need to do.  Too many 
times people say "you don't listen to my advice" when they mean I don't take 
thier advice.  I do listen then make a judgement call.  If I am wrong so be 
it.  But sometimes I split the difference when it comes to gardening.  Some 
my way and some thiers and see for myself which worked the best.  Experience.
