Ok, so I think I've made a final decision not to use
the public compost in any of my vegetable beds. My
after reading more literature online as well as the
input from the forum, it just isn't a chance I want to
take. I have decided to still use the public compost
for flower beds.
So, any recommendations for other sources of organic
matter. I know the problems with peat harvesting and
would like to leave that as a last resort.
What is available?
What is best?
What is the most economical & safe?
Thanks for your help,
Maggie
