So, all of this talk about direct seeding tomatoes has me thinking that I'll
give it a try this year. Do I need to presoak the seeds or anything special?
I'll take any tips you may offer.

Thanks,

Just at thought....

Your e-mail made me think about my cherry tomato
plants. My fiance swore that I shouldn't direct seed
tomatoes...that they will only die. So, I told him we
would experiment with them. I direct seeded 2 plants
and started 2 others in cups on the porch and later
transplanted. All plants get the same sun, soil and
water every day.

And guess what? My direct seeded plants have bushels
of little green tomatoes all over them while my
transplanted ones are just getting their flowers.

Interesting....
