What matters is what proportion of horses *at the barn at which you get
your horse manure compost* get wormed, with what products, and how often.
At my horse's barn (~50 horses), some are wormed every 8 weeks like
clockwork, others get wormed perhaps 2-3 times a year. My horse falls
between, he gets wormed about 4 times a year, using various wormers.
I use the barn's manure compost on my veggies (my veggie garden is at the
barn) and I have tons of earth worms.
