Sue,
As an example, I start tomatoes in the cups and plant the cups in the garden.
The cup keeps the cut worms at bay (if any). After the first killing frost,
I toss the whole plant and cup in the compost pile. When the cup comes up, I
grind it in my hands into tiny pieces. I mix the cup in with the compost.
Note, this is on a small scale mind you. Works for me.
