First of all it is Zucchetta Rampicante and I have to take issue with you
on point number two. I have grown this for several years and have had
abundant yields without hand pollination. It does take a lot of tying, but
with careful pruning it is easy to grow on a trellis.  As for taste I like
it better because it is firmer and cooks better.
