Hello All,
I am intrigued by the possibility that eggshells might be used as replacement
therapy
for diatomaceous earth. My DH [the chemist] seems to think this is a very viable
alternative.
But, as DH points out, crushed eggshells are still dust, and should be handled
with a
mask, too. What do you all think? I guess it depends upon how finely you crush
them?
Isn't kitty litter made out of diatomeceous earth? The cheap stuff which is
unscented
and basically unadulterated might make a good sub for the finely ground version.
Also a
lot less dusty...
Any and all thoughts gratefully acknowledged,
Trina
