Goodness, I'd love to be able to grow them. I know there are varieties that will grow here in hot dry So. Cal., but I planted four boysenberry canes that our local nursery said would do fine in our climate, and two of them have dried up and died, the other two are hanging on for dear life. Wouldn't things like carrots, beets, and lettuce grow OK right along with the berry canes? That's what I would try if I had volunteer raspberries :) :) :)!!! Oh well, what is a delicacy to some is a weed to others...
