hello. I am new to this list and fairly new to gardening. , I was wondering if I could get some information on growing strawberries in ZOne 4 (mn) Our local garden center is selling some plants. I have heard that you can't let them produce fruit the first year, is this true or does it depend on the type?? THe ones they are selling are called everbering strawberries.
