Hey thanks for the tip on spacemiser zucchini. I was planning on tossing it on a pile of composted sod for the summer, but if that's all the space they take up I'll plant them in the same bed as my potatoes -- first year for potatoes. We're building another raised bed w/ cinder block permiter by removing the sod, adding a layer of compost then planting the potatoes, then we just plan on filling in with compost/soil as the taters grow. So guess I'll really have to find somewhere else for the zukes or just divide the bed in two. >Zucchini we do are >the "Spacemizer" type that take up @2'X2' each. Hope this helps. >Margaret Zone 7(Md-DC suburb) . ******************************* Natalie McNair-Huff Publisher/Editor Mac Net Journal http://www.blol.com/web_mnj/ *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
