Those do sound a bit stunted to me but I am basing that on my own growth
here.
Mine didn't flower until they were almost 2 feet high. But I took a chance
and planted in February. The pods are several inches long now and I think
they will be ready to harvest in a couple of weeks. My problem is keeping
them out of the nearby squares. They seem to be falling to the sides. This
might be from the weight of the pods but I doubt it. Last week I had heavy
winds so perhaps they were damaged a bit from that.
