I've tried several different copper methods and I liked copper tubing the
best in terms of keeping it on the box through the season and price, but
the main thing with any copper barrier is that you really have to make sure
that there aren't other ways into the bed.  If plants fall over the edges
of the bed and to the ground, the slimey guys will use these as a bridge to
climb in.  You can reapply the tape by using little copper nails.
