Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
The garden plot I`ve rented is a rectangle, and I`m trying to chart
out on graph paper (weeee! it`s so much fun) how I`m going to do my
sqft garden.
Has anyone ever tried this variation or something like it: instead of
4foot by 4foot blocks, have one long `column` of 4ft-wide or 3ft-wide
rows, all surrounded by a path, like this:
////// /////
/++++/ /+++/
/++++/ /+++/
/++++/ or /+++/
/++++/ /+++/
/++++/ /+++/
/++++/ /+++/
////// /////
where a / is path and a + is a garden square.
Can anyone suggest a reason why this wouldn`t work? is a path really
necessary after each 4th row?
Thanks!
