Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Lisa,
Yes, you will need the path after the 4th row so that you can reach to
weed and harvest. Our beds are 4' wide and I hate that middle foot.
Unless you are very tall it will be a reach. We use wide row planting
allot in our raised beds. Our gardens are influenced by Mel and Dick
Raymond. I also use the wide row method in the "hunger garden" that I
coordinate at our church. I plant the rows 1' to 2' wide with a path
between. Scattering the seed rather than spacing carefully. Works great
with crops like beans, peas, beets, carrots, lettuce, etc. Good Luck
and happy gardening.
