re: your roses -  look on the backs of the leaves, do they have orange
pustules on them (if so, you have rust).  Do the leaves have dark spots
(if so, you have Black Spot).  Do the leaves have a powdery whitish
substance on them? (if so, you have powdery mildew).  These are the 3
most common diseases affecting roses.  Let me know what you have and
I'll give you suggestions if you want.  I garden my roses organically
too.
