Re: Spider Mites or Aphids? -Reply

You mention that you use lacewings because they eat aphids and spider
mites.  What are lacewings and where do you get them?  I believe I also
have spider mites.  Lower leaves on my plants are turning yellow and
when I look closely at my tomato stems there are little black things with
baby wings.  How much damage do they do?

They sell spider mites that eat spider mites but I just use lacewings
because they eat both aphids and mites.  Also if they are aphids you
have to control the ants as they heard the aphids and will bring them
back.  Some time you can stop those ants  by diging up the ants house
over
and
over again thus giving the ants something to do (rebuild their home) and
they leave the aphids some time long enough for the lady bugs or what
