I see two potential problems with this arrangement. First of all, unless the
tomatoes are seriously disciplined, they will be too crowded. The Book does
show possible alternate arrangements for vertical frames; you can try
building a frame on three sides so you can train the tomatoes properly.

The second problem is the spinach. I doubt that any amount of shade can keep
spinach going through the summer; certainly by the time the tomatoes are
tall enough to do any good, the spinach will have already bolted. You could
do a spring crop of spinach, then do a succession planting of Swiss chard
when it comes time to plant the tomatoes. (But my bias is talking here. I
like Swiss chard *way* better than spinach.)
