Fia - don't know anything about the seaweed, but I use dead fish from my
ponds as fertilizer by burying them at the base of plants, just like the
indians did.  Works wonderfully - also, when your husband changes the
water in his tank, use the old water to water your house plants - fish
excrement is great as well.  I use the drainage from my biofilters on my
ponds as fertilizer for plants and they love it.
