Re: T Tape/ Soaker TUBING

I believe Olin misunderstood soaker TUBING and mistakenly thought that I was
referring to soaker hose.

Soaker tubing comes in small diameter and works much like the soaker HOSES
with which we are all familiar except that it is (somewhat) calibrated as
to discharge.

This tubing also comes in the form of something called soaker dripline which
consists of 1/4" tubing w/ very sophisticated "turbulent flow, self
cleaning, 1/2 gal/hr emitters molded into the tubing (about $20/100'
roll-Dripworks.)

I restate my conviction that T-tape (even tho I luv the stuff) is a big pain
for 4 to 6' runs, and the corner problems that I am experiencing are
substantial. (I need to get around the 90 Deg corners to serve the plants
growing in the holes in my concrete block Asparagus beds.)

I'm glad that the T-tube works for Olin, although he doesn't say whether he
uses 3/8" or the 5/8" tape. I wish it were he, rather than I that had the
2000' of 3/8" tape.
