What sort of feeding do yellow squash like? I've noticed mine have been
slow to produce. Lots of blossoms, and even a couple baby-sized fruit,
but then they turn brown and fall off. The rest of the plant looks
plenty healthy, though. I'm hoping that feeding is my only problem!
Thanks,

A steady water supply (they don't like erratic watering) and plenty of

Toms need sun/warmth to ripen. There has been a thread in the newsgroup
uk.rec.gardening, as they are a bit slow in the UK this year 'cos we've
not had that much sun this year.
It has been suggested (and it seems it may be working for some people)
that if you hang a Banana near the toms they will ripen quicker. It's
because of the ethylene gas released by the ripe bananas.
