Just a signature suggestion...

My signature is in 3 parts. My e-mail client (Netscape) allows me to
edit the signature before sending the message, so i just delete the two
signatures that i don't want for that message.
I use the first section for Usenet postings. If i want to see an
x-rated website, i will find one on my own; i don't need some robot to
shove one into my mailbox. Even though a live human can easily abuse
the information i have in this section i find that they just don't
bother. Their robots can find enough suckers who don't take any
precautions at all. Plus, a smart spammer (is there such a thing?) will
realize that anyone who takes even the most rudamentary precautions will
certainly not be a potential customer.
The second section i use for professional and personal contacts.
Professionals will need to know my work number and address. Anyone who
needs my home phone or address will get it through means other than an
e-mail signature.
The third section is the one i use for internet contacts. Since many of
my internet contacts come from gardening groups [there! it's on-topic]
such as this one, i include my zone and location information. Since
there is more than one zone system, i specify "USDA."
Eudora allows you to choose between two signatures, but doesn't allow
you to edit them in the message. I also found myself forgetting to
choose the right signature. But the option is there.
Check your own e-mail client to see if it offers similar flexibility.
