My raised beds are on a slight rise. One end (each is 8' x 4') long wise
is about 4 inches higher then the other side. I have had no problems with
water flowing to one end or anything like that. I do level the surface of
the beds to the side of wood I use for my raised beds so yet the surface
would slope to.
The next bed I am putting in if flush to the ground would have one side
1 foot higher than the other. I have no idea how it would work but just
believe it would look silly. That one I am going to build shorter on the
uphill side and also dig it in slightly on the uphill side. All my previous
wooden raised beds are just dropped on the ground and I use 4 24"
long pieces of rebar (real cheap) to provide stability to the sides
(keep the boards from seperating vertically) and the rebar than goes
into the ground about a foot. Ron S
