Similar experience in Az near Mexico.
When plants going well, hacked off 6"
pieces large/larger than a pencil and
buried a few inches deep to spread them.
Maybe below the frost line. Why not
take a cutting OR ONE plant inside
if it's so striking. You can take cuttings
from it all winter. get one 75w
grolight with a swivel fixture. You
need some light in the house in th winter
anyway, so it will do dual duty.
