Re: Starting Seeds Indoors

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Basil: Easy. Germinates within a few days. Slow growing for the
first few weeks, then grows faster . Grew indoors under lights
the 1st 3 weeks, then planted from flat to 4-inch pot and moved
outdoors after that. Planted after 8 weeks from seed at average
height about 5 inches. Could have been planted after 4 weeks from
seed if weather warm enough.

Squash and Oregano: Never tried either one. Squash grows so fast
here there wouldn't be much advantage. Plan to try oregano
sometime.
