Ants

I had some black ants last year, but they weren't exactly small ones. I
don't think that they bite or at least I never got bit by one. But I did
plant strawberries in some large clay strawberry pots for my patio and the
ants not only moved into them but they ate all my berries too! I didn't
poison them but I bet they'll be back eventhough I have no strawberry plants
left. I guess that's another problem I'll have to figure out how to solve as
soon as they wake up from their winter snooze. Being this is my first year
for planting tomatoes, now I'm wondering, will these ants eat them too?
