Thanks, Kim, I sometimes hesitate to ask questions you all probably have heard and answered so many times before. It's so strange how good it feels to see those little seedlings growing. I almost feel like a mommy again ;-). More seriously though, I started (indoors) several cucumber seeds some appear to be doing very well, nice and compact and already got their first true leaves, but about 1/4 of them are leggy (almost twice as tall and much thinner) and the top leaves look curled and deformed. I can't see any sign of disease that I can recognize. Anyways, I'm going to destroy the deformed ones and try again but but the seeds were all from the same packet, this puzzles me?? Also any advice on which varieties of hot peppers grow well for my zone (short, wet and sometimes cool season).
