Doreen - did you just plant the seeds directly in the manure/compost
mix? No soil?
Also, what kind of irrigation did you use? I'm trying to see if
sprinklers would be okay or should I just water everything by hand -
yuck. How often did you water your melons? I would love to be able
to grow melons and I know I should be able to since I live in a warm
climate.
