vining question

My computer room has one window that always lets in enough sunlight to make
reading the monitor difficult. Right now I have a thin blanket stretched
across the window and shades drawn. Looks pretty tacky. I am thinking about
setting T posts about 1 - 2 ft outside the window and bending a hog panel
into a U shape over the posts.
This makes a super sturdy 'arbor' trellis, and I was wondering if scarlet
runner beans or maybe malabar spinach would cover all the metal and shade
the window ok in one season. Which would you recommend? The actual vining
area would be 4' across and probably 8 ' tall if I add 3 (8' pieces) of
panel. I'm thinking if I can keep the area inside the arbor cool and shady,
it would be perfect for a new cutting bed as well.

(Doreen, I received the fungi information on 2/5, just now retrieving my
e-mail, tho. Thanks!)
