1st yr growing from seed, questions...

This is the first year I'm attempting to create transplants for tomato, pepper and other plants.  I recently purchased a grow mat, peat pots and a plastic tray.  I then planted seeds, watered everything down and covered in saran wrap.  All this went fine and the plants are just starting to emerge.  I have been removing the emerged plants from the grow mat and noticed a green / white mildew on the outside of the peat pots.  My question is should I be concerned?  I'm guessing the heat and the moisture created this, but do not know for sure...
