Re: Grow Lights
>John, Here in the rainy Northwest, I've had great luck with the cheepofluorescent lamps. I've heard that more expensive full spectrum lighting
is only required for producing blooms. <
Ah cheap...cheap is what you'll get! Let me tell you folks, I have a
friend (who must remain nameless) who used to grow.....um.....you
know...smoking products in doors, who has since been required to retire
farming, who sent me one of his grow lights. It's one of those big jobs
with the 3 sq ft transformer, 48" dia reflector and 8 in dia bulb. When
you plug in this beauty the whole county's lights dim....
This sucker grow transplants that don't require hardening off. Just kick
em outside and throw em in the hole!
Don't waste your time with a $5 buck grow light from Wal-Mart! Go for it
get a good one, you'll be happy you did!
Oh, just a little reminder, when the Sherrif knocks on your door asking
about that funny "light" comming outta your basement window, show him
what you're doing and give him a six pack of Pepper plants to go.....
