Re: Grow Lights


John, Here in the rainy Northwest, I've had great luck with the cheepo
fluorescent lamps.  I've heard that more expensive full spectrum lighting
is only required for producing blooms.  The real catch to fluorescent
seedling lighting seems to be to get those tubes CLOSE to the plants.
Within a few inches even!  The lumen decrease is log function of the
distance.  Spindly tall growth almost always means too little light at the
seedling stage.
