This year I will be planting my first square foot garden. But first,
I am starting many plants from seed.
My question is, what do I do, when they start to sprout? Do they
immediately need to go under lights (as per the recent
indoor-lighting thread)? How mature do they need to be before going
under lights? If it is warm enough outside, can I just put them out
in the day? If not, how long can they survive
un-dammaged without going under lights. How old do they need to be
before I can start acclimating them to the outdoors? (Last threat of
freeze here is March 1st).
Thank you in advance for sharing your expertise. This list has been
a real inspiration.
