Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I'm new to both this list and gardening, and am convinced that the square
foot method is the way to go. I do have one question that I can't seem to
find addressed anywhere: does "full sun" mean direct sun on the plant, or
does it just mean not in the shade? In particular, I'm asking because I
have an overhang that shades part of my garden area, and while the
remainder is not shaded, it isn't in direct sunlight either. If anyone
knows how to classify this situation or where I might get more information
about this particular topic, I'd be very grateful. Thanks.
