Re:potatoes above ground

I used to grow potatoes by piling wheat straw around the plant as it grew.
WHen it is time to harvest the 'taters', you only pull back the straw to find
them.  That's how we are growing potatoes this year at our school in Leeds,
Alabama.  I have been quite successful qith this method.
