Do you just depend upon rain or do you use supplemental water for the
potatoes? Watering the containers is the hardest part of trying to grow
potatoes in containers IMO. Thanks, another Margaret (L)

We can never depend on the rain..we water about 2x every week..unless it has
really poured(or is blazing HOT then 4+/wk).we grow a lot of tomatoes and
peppers and they drink a lot. watering the potatoes is not hard..just
shower(not forcefully). I give the whole planting bed roughly 30minutes
each time(@1-2inches) with raised beds I only need to water the areas I have
planted..not the whole garden area..this saves time and water..the plants
don't seem to get as dry as the others in our community garden who plant rows
and not raised beds...also if I overwater(by some odd chance) it drains away.
