Thanks Bill and Jeff,
I will check out those options.  I'm such a PC dummy that I don't use a lot 
of applications because I don't know how, so the basic stuff I care about: 
mail from you guys and others and my bilble study stuff, and the credit union 
are about all I can use and they seem fine since the don't use a yy.  I can't 
use some things(even word perfect) since my personal file cabinet emptied 
itself into some limbo place which I can't access and it has just made it 
impossible to open anything else.  That's probably not really how to describe 
it,but that's the only way I know how to do it.  Suffice it to say that I can 
hobble along until I can get a new compliant PC.  Thanks again.
