Bush Snap Beans (WAS: Re: One person Sq F Gardening)

approx. how many plants of bush snap beans does one need to feed one
person?  Seems to me it's a lot; that's why I've never tried them in
my small space.  Too much shade here for many veggies!  But, I
wouldn't trade the trees for a prairie!  :)
