Re: asparagus

Hi
I am Diane and I live out on the Mojave Desert in California. My husband
and I were just talking about asparagus and I admitted that outside of
knowing someone who raised it in Tucson when I lived there 20 years ago I
have had no experience with it other than eating it and looking at the
price of it in the market. I would be interested in all the information
that can be offered on the subject. I have the space for a long narrow
raised bed blocked from the afternoon sun which is the killer here and also
blocked from the canyon winds coming down from the high Sierra Mountains.
Thanks
Diane...the high desert recluse
