Yes, but what about using planned rotation cycle so that you aren't following potatoes with tomatoes, making sure that plant nitrogen-hungry plants after legumes, etc. I plant legumes, interplanted with and followed by greens/brassicas; then root vegetables; then corn and cucerbits; then solanums; then back to legumes. This seems to work ok, but I haven't been doing it for long enough to say any more than this. Any thoughts?
