Hot weather watering

When I suggested to our gardening friend Down Under about watering seed
beds several times a day in hot weather, I should have been more
specific. I am fortunate to have a garden hose available for watering and
was able to obtain a nozzle which emits a very fine mist. This makes it
possible to keep the soil moist without washing out the seeds. If you
must water by can and bucket, I suppose a watering can with very small
holes would work.
