Re: strategies for hot dry weather
This sounds like Southern California during the summer. I start
everything that is transplantable in cups, where I can better control the
watering and humidity, and plant to the garden only when the plants are
larger and better able to withstand the heat. For plants which must be
direct seeded, watering several times each day may be necessary until
they are well established.
