I just harvested about a pound of Purple Ruffles basil in my garden and on 
the underside of a few of the stems I noticed what looks like spider nests. 
Very white, not more than 1/8 inch long, and slightly fuzzy and placed along 
the stems and veins. The plants all look very healthy, not a blemish on them. 
Any ideas?
