Dear Charlie-  I have really enjoyed this list and wonder why it seems to be
so quiet lately. I found myself joining another bunch of list for square
footing,  veggies, flowers, etc. and have been distracted. Is it really that
quiet? I still get emails from Square Foot Gardening List everyday (I
think). This is still the best list for sqfting. What do you all think? Have
we been spread to thin?

| For some reason interest in this list has hit an all time low. Having been
a
| member going on three or more years I don't understand exactly what this
has
| occured. Some would say "We're all busy in the garden, wait till we're not
| so busy". In the winter it was " Wait till spring". In the spring it was
| "Wait till summer when we're all growing things". But for some reason the
| list has died and has been fairly dead for a while. Was it because there
| were off topic posts which caused a few to leave?, or was it because of
the
| organic vs non-organic discussion?. I really don't know. I hope that the
| list will make a comeback and become what is was.
